1/48 F9F-5 Panther - Blue Angels

    To all,

    I built a final Panther to validate all of the adjustments/corrections I made to the model you have already seen. Attached are the pictures. Check out the Blue Angels formation at the bottom!

    I just sent Chris the model files for uploading to ecardmodels.com.

    Enjoy! and now I'll get started on the Valkyrie! :thumb:

    Ken,

    A quik question.

    I notice on that panther you have the dive brakes but the Cougar does not. Does the Cougar not have dive brakes?

    The Cougar has dive brakes too.

    I decided on the Blue Angel models not too go too crazy with the panel lines. When you look up at BA aircraft as they are flying, you would be hard pressed to see anything except the paint scheme and very few panels. Since these are meant to be in-flight models, I left them off. I did put in the speed brakes for both the Cougar and the Panther. They are quite a bit larger on the Panther though.
