What is the T for? I have a Mantua little six but it doesnt have any tender. Did it at one time or does the T mean something?

The T is for tank. Either straddling the boiler or one on each side of the boiler.Most of these have a small fuel bunker (coal or wood) mounted directly behind the cab.
