    Yea, thanks! To keep it simple (for me anyway) I decided to wire in parallel and use resistors to drop the voltage. Works great for my setup since I already have a single transformer attached to the layout. Here's a shot of my layout: (If you look hard enough, you can see the street lights)

    N crossing signals

    I'm looking for manufacturer names and/or dealer names where I can get lighted crossing signals for N scale. I've seen many in HO scale but I don't know who makes them for N except model power. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Questions so basic I can't find the answers

    I've been told that you can glue the track down with simple wood glue. I'm thinking of trying this myself. The extension wire is called a DC extension cord and the part number is 24-825. ebay sellers have them, online dealers have them as well as local hobby shops that sell Kato.
