    Civil War Ironclad Source(s)?

Hurray! Another ACW ship fan! Paper Shipwright does both the USS Monitor (about 8") and the CSS Virginia/Merrimack (about 14") in 1:250. Not very big, I know, but very nice models. I have them both, unbuilt at the moment. Paper Shipwright - Card Models Paper Shipwright - Card Models Paper...

    mortar boat no.10 build

Nicely done! I've had mine on the back burner for a while but maybe I should actually consider starting it. Your build does point out one thing that I had noticed, though. It's much too clean! I think I'll give mine a bit of weathering to tone it down a bit. Cheers, Mike

    Roland C.II

I picked the 'Harry Tate' because it's in basically the same situation as the 'Walfisch'. Other than Airfix's ancient kit and a vacform from Aeroclub, I don't there are any other representations of it out there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Roden adds it to their list, in any scale. It's...

    Roland C.II

Downloaded this last night and forgot to say thanks! It's a beautiful model of one of my favourite WWI airplanes. Thanks for the variety of colour schemes, too! Now, if somebody could do an RE-8! Cheers, Mike

Fake Carrier - needs a model

That was the I-400 series of boats. They only built 3 of them. They were 400' long and were to carry 3 Aichi E14Y Seiran floatplanes. The I-400 and I-401 were originally going to be used in an attack on the Panama Canal but were rescheduled to attack the Allied Fleet buildup at Ulithi Atoll. The...

    Looking for Hako...

Hi, ButchPrice Thank you, but I was able to get a copy. CK Styles was kind enough to send me one. Hope you able to find a new home for your figures. It appears you have a few more that would be of interest. Cheers, Mike

    What happened to scalescenes?

Looks like they've simply eliminated the US section. The models were basically the same, anyway. There's a link to click that tells you what to do if you're building in HO scale. It's simply a rescale of the OO models when printing. Cheers, Mike

    Looking for Hako...

Quite willing to send you a list but, first, I'll have to search on a couple of my backup DVD's for older downloads. Ran out of space! I'll PM you shortly. Cheers, Mike

    Looking for Hako...

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering. Had to have a nap. Getting old, you know! ;-) I do have a fair number of Hako models (Star Trek, Superheroes, monsters, etc. Wonder if anyone has ever compiled a list of what's out there in Hako?) but this one caught my eye in passing. I would...

Evening, all! Anybody know where to get the Danica Patrick Hako figure by Butch Price, as shown on Webdude's site? The original host no longer exists, unfortunately. Cheers, Mike

    Akitsushima Seaplane Tender

Welcome to the club! I've got the model, too, but haven't started her yet (or the hundreds of others in my ever-expanding collection!). One of these days! If you do a search in this forum under her name, you'll see a thread from last year from another builder with some great closeups. Maybe...

    My new Site

Hey, Olli! Congratulations on your new site! :thumb: I'm still slowly working on your Stagecoach. I'm trying to work in some Indians attacking. It's just a matter of rescaling some figures I found. Cheers, Mike

    WW2 over done?

I think it's part of what I'd call the 'Hollywood Syndrome'. Why take the effort to think up a new plot when we can just remake the original classic into a horrible mishmash or add an interminable number of lousy sequels? It's happening with plastic, too. There are hundreds of softskins and...

    Polish Streetcars and Buses

Good morning, all! I don't know whether these should be classed as Railcar-related or Commercial Vehicles or what, but at least it fits in Everything Else! Very colourful vehicles, too! http://www.transport131.webpark.pl/projj_2004.html Cheers, Mike
