    Grumman Guardian AF2S Available

Finally available after a loooong delay... The Grumman Guardian AF2S in 1/32 scale. Features, well... pretty much everything. It has 22.5" span, and has 25 pages of instructions, with 20 diagrams. A VERY special thanks to CMDRTED for his tireless effort to help bring the AF2S to...

Awesome! I have been waiting a while for this one. I Have built the Meteor, and I think it's the best one available.

    USS Tarawa LHA1 1/200

Another foam that you can use is the foam backing from meat products from your local grocer. It is expanded polystyrene, but not the bead type. It will sand perfectly smooth and is quite dense. I use it for aircraft bulkheads. I take the paper part and glue it to the foam, then use a hotwire...

    USS Tarawa LHA1 1/200

I've done what rjm suggests, using green florist's foam. There are a couple of problems with the material. One is that the polymer it is made from is similar to ABS plastic, and cannot be melted easily. A hotwite cutter will only 'burn' it's way through it. Another is that it is not very strong...

Looking for Romulian Bird of Prey TOS

There is one commercially available, from a company called Simon Spotlight. It was published in 1997, and it is the punch and assemble variety. It comes up every so often on Ebay. I am pretty sure there are also some free ones out there somewhere, and I'll report them when I find them.

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Just give me some time, fellas. I'll get a lot of those knocked out for you. I can only go so fast, though. One a month is pretty much full throttle for me. Any faster and the models would suck. It takes excruciating dedication and patience to produce a paper model, beginning to end. (designers...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Yeah, price wise, card modelers expect a lot more for the dollar than do plastic modelers. My banshee is only $7, in 1/32 scale. A similiar kit in plasic by trumpeter would likely start at $80. I feel that paper is not only the superior medium, but it's also the only real practical one for those...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Yeah, I do have a 1/32 scale valiant in (slow) development. It will be in both versions, camo & anti-flash white. It will be a while, though. I've got a number of other projects that need completion first. I am still trying to solve the geometry so that it won't have like 200 pages of parts...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Well I know Geli has produced a cougar and a panther. I've built both, but I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone serious about the topic. For heaven's sake, they're printed in silverized paper. It may be pretty, but only certain parts on the real examples were left bare, except for test aircraft...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

I agree. I know some of those are already available elsewhere, though. I am trying to focus on stuff either unavailable or unreleased. Not that a number of those couldn't use an update, though. Ahhh, don't tempt me!

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Thanks so much for your kind feedback. I actually have been developing a valiant. I am passionate about that plane, but I am still trying to solve the geometry so all of the parts will fit on the pages. Just know, I am working on it!

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Thanks HueyDriver! I would love to see your builds. And to NOBI, I am a happily registered 3ds Max user. I won't design models that are currently or widely available. You'll never see me design an F-16, F-18, F-15, Mig-29... you get the picture. I have always felt that one of the strengths of...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Thanks! I think you are right about scaling. I would prefer to keep everything on a printer freindly size sheet. I have several models designed that I probably won't ever release until I figure out how to devide them into A4 or 8.5"x11" sheets. I have a 1/32 scale Vickers Valiant on the boards...

    Mitsubishi A5M 1/32 now available

Thank you very kindly for your feedback, larry! All of my kits will have a lot of instructions and diagrams. The tolerances on my kits are pretty tight, and I feel the diagrams are nessecary to 'get the picture' of how it is put together. I haven't really solved the universal printing issue yet...
