    Tachicoma Build

Your build looks nice, how small is the little one hiding under the big one? I've been slacking on my card modeling abit, last week and weekend had alot of stuff going on with school and this week I got a 75% pay raise, but now I have to figure out how to get in 75% more work  I will...

    Guess this mech

Not much progress on the cyclone test build, I'm suffering from severe distraction syndrom. Working on converting some of those little radio shack radio controled cars into a WIG aircraft is taking alot of my time. Well, I have managed to cut out several more parts. and even assemble...

    Guess this mech

Well, no luck with the file so far, it's apparently in Binary format where as Peparka uses a ascii format. O, and I found the publishers website now,(http://inazuma.jp/paper/) heh it's Siryu that "h" you added in there through me off. Anyways, according to there website they are working on...

    Guess this mech

Ok, this is what I've gotten done tonight. First the build method is interesting, since they are all box based you can cut out every single part and assemble them each individually. Then go back and match up the number codes on the connection points. Sort of like making your own Lego pieces...

    Tachicoma Build

There are alot of differences in the look of the two. Although they are in the same line of thinking. By looking at the back end of that Fuchikoma I'd say it's quite abit larger than a Tachikoma because a pilot in a Tachi is folded up like they are on a motorcycle to fit inside, and the...

    Tachicoma Build

I downloaded this model some time ago from www.5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~compact/ but when I last looked at the site I don't think this model was available any more. This is really a test build so I can figure out how everything goes together, since the instructions are kind of sparse and written in...

    Guess this mech

Actually, I'm kinda glad that it doesn't transform at the moment. My head starts hurting at think how to get the paper to do all those little movements. I would love a scan of those instructions. I actually assembled the kit when I was real young (and the kit was brand new) but of course ended...

    Guess this mech

I certainly wouldn't mind beta testing it so I volunteer myself. BTW, it doesn't transform, does it? I still have one of the old plastic models (Revell I think) of this that were sold under the Go-bots brand as Cy-kill. Of course I've lost the instructions to that long long ago in a...

    Japanese MU

Yes, that does look rather complex, although for some odd reason I really seem to want to build it. However that bowl of er... food (can't tell what it is!) that they have on that site seems like it will get built really quick!

    1/200 Russia rc havercraft papermodel

That looks like it's way tooo much fun to play with... I'd be scared I'd crash it into something. Nice video of it, I like the Russian anthem playing, it adds a nice touch.

    Fairy model question...

Yes the longer dress makes the number 1 pic look more refined and ladylike... but were talking about a fairy here, I seem to recall that they were supposed to be playfull and stuff so I vote for number 2 because number 3's dress is just to plain. O, and speaking of the dress, have you thought...

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

Bowdenja, Yes it flys, hovers, rolls, and does Immelman turns (the hero uses the last one alot). Mostly they are used as messenger ships and racers (why fly out in the desert around some pylons when you can instead go through the city and some caverns at 100mph?) but this one has two steam...

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

Well, I've finished the assembly, the only thing left is to do all the edge coloring and gap filling. I'm going to be trying out my watercolor pencils for the first time so I hope I have some luck with them. Anyways here are a few pics of the assembled model as it is right now. Sorry for...

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

Ok, not that anyone asked (sigh) but here is what I meant about assembling the pipes with the inside over the outside (which sounds kinda backwards) First picture is the parts after being cut out. The middle part is cut out after its glued together so that it doesn't warp as bad. Second...

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

I know I started building this only two days ago, but only one more little section to go untill I'm finished with the assembly. I also know that is has left little time for any of you to comment, but it is still kind of un-nerving. Like giving a speech to a room full of people who only stare...

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

I got caught up in building so I forgot to take pictures! Well, now I've added both wings, landing gear, windshields and started on the Claudia drive system. It's turning out alot more "wrinkly" than I'd like, but this is a learning experience. I think I'll go ahead and fill in any...

Building an AT-AT at 3x the scale (In-Progress)

I can handle the .dwg or .dxf just fine I'll send you an e-mail, suposedly my e-mail has a 25meg limit per e-mail, we'll see. I do not have Shun Pop's original PDFs so it would be great if you can include those too, or tell me where to go get them.

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

Well, I have decided that this is definatly a test build. The parts all seem to line up right, but the way some of the tabs are they force it to look "off" a little. So I'll have to go back and do better scans of it and remove tabs and stuff that I feel I need to change. Also some of the...

Building an AT-AT at 3x the scale (In-Progress)

I can't wait to see how the extra bits turned out and the weathering should add a whole new dimension to it. And, if the model is ever available(with your corrections and additions) I'd love to have it. I don't have autocad, but Rhino should be able to open those files.

Limited Edition Vanship from "Last Exile"

Well I got a little work done around breakfast this morning. I still have to go back and glue all the seams together but you can get the idea of how the parts are supposed to look. O, btw, I found I can remove that extra orangeness of my pictures by using the "auto-levels" in photoshop...
