    At last Orion by UHU02

This is very strange indeed. I just downloaded sheet 5 again and printed it out. Part 40 still has the graduated rust-colored scheme with thin light-colored lines, like it's supposed to. I wonder what could cause this -- some sort of software version issue, maybe?

    Einstein

This is the "Paper People" cartoon of old Albert. The caption bubble refers to his famous (and apparently wrong) statement about quantum mechanics: "God doesn't play dice."

    Hindenburg Disaster

This is my modification of the "Spitefuls" diorama, which I made partially to get some experience with metallic paper. The engineering is marginal, but it's fun. The biggest problem is that the stand mounting is unstable.

I downloaded mine last Wednesday evening, and my part 40 is colored like the one in the photos. A last-minute correction, maybe?

They had tailhooks, and I think that the Ju87C had folding wing panels. There was also a torpedo bomber version of the Fw...

    RENFE Spanish Trains...

I built this model some time ago. The graphics work is very nice, but the engineering is not -- I had to build a lot of internal structure to make it reasonably self-supporting. It's printed on glossy paper, and at the time I had not yet figured out the idea of roughing up the gluing surfaces...

    The Sainte Chapelle

This is really impressive. Am I right that you laser-printed the windows onto the transparent sheets? I didn't think that there was any way to do that with inkjet.

I would not have thought of the monolith as a vehicle, but I guess it actually was! The monolith itself would not be too much of a model. Maybe it could be part of a diorama of the excavation site on the moon . . .

    Greetings All!

Thanks for the welcome RB, and also for moving my post to the correct section. Never fear, I'll get the hang of this eventually!

    Greetings All!

I joined the forum some time ago, but never got around to posting an intro. I've enjoyed building paper models for many years, although I can't claim any particular expertise. This is one of my recent projects: Ralph Currell's Transoceanic Airship docked on the Empire State Building mooring...
