USS Selfridge DD 357 1/200 Scale

Well...... To tell you the truth, I didn't even realize that there is no base included in the kit until you mentioned it  Other ships in GreMir offer have bases simply because designers included them in the model, but Maciej did not - he mounted Selfridge on this fancy wooden stand and...

The Devil is in The Details

This is an excellent reference source if anybody wants to super-detail the US Navy torpedo launchers. Great find :thumb:

The Devil is in The Details

So that's what it is.... Did USN destroyers had the same setup, or was this Japanese secret to extremely fast torpedo reloading that caused US Navy so much grief in the early stage of the war?

    Chi-He Type 1 Command Vehicle

Nice job! :thumb: I built the Chi-He as my first-ever tank (at the moment the only one as well ) and I enjoyed it tremendously except for tracks built from separate links - this was bit too much repetition for my taste...

Models by Marek, Leif Ohlson recolor NA73 Mustang Mk I 613 Squadron RAF

This particular kit can be obtained from E-Cardmodels shop http://ecardmodels.com/mustang-ag522-paper-model-p-1984.html Don't know anything about Marek's models being offered on CD - this doesn't sound legit...

Huh? Leif recolored model designed by Marek, as stated in the topic, and I built it. I don't carry Marek's models.

Models by Marek, Leif Ohlson recolor NA73 Mustang Mk I 613 Squadron RAF

Very nice model to build and display on your shelf  Wheels and fuselage guns - resin. Mechanics - Verlinden, pilot - 21st Century Toys.

    Would it be cheating...

Absolutely not cheating  Most of the commercial card models (ships and planes) have at least several templates of parts to be created from wire of different diameters. Persoanlly I will use wire, resin, plastic, wood or anything else that I can find and utilize to enhance the model.

    Non-card parts in card models

I've been asked through PM about some extra parts I use to build my models so maybe it will be a good idea to answer in the open as this might be usefull for the others as well. Pre-formed canopies I'm a big fan of those as they simply look much better than trying to glue bubble canopy from...

De Havilland Mosquito Mk.II NF / Mały Modelarz / 1:33

Thanks Wojtee, I'm known to use resin wheels myself, but TrueDetail brand I favor has rather limited assortment so I'm always looking for more. I will have to look at GPM website much closer now

De Havilland Mosquito Mk.II NF / Mały Modelarz / 1:33

Good looking Mossie :thumb: I'm assuming that resin wheels you used came from GPM? What do you think about those wheels?

    Will Aldridge XP-72 Ultra Bolt

Well.... It's not a review of the kit, but Zathros asked me to post the annoucement here  If you saw Will's thread you already know that the kit is available for sale, but he posted it sort of quietly and his effort to design this beast deserves a little more bang than that sign1 You...

    Beta builder needed.

John, Thanks for the good word and to calm everybody's nerves - this is not my design, I'm just going to market it  Rhaaven has the job and he will be building it here, plus there will be a build going on papermodels. I'm waiting for one part missing from the model and as soon as I...

    Beta builder needed.

Rhaaven, I know that the model will build without a problem, but I need detailed photos of the process and of course of the completed model. 1:25 scale, detailed engine and drive train, fully detailed anti-aircraft gun. I still have some work to do before model is ready. In the meantime, can you...

    Beta builder needed.

I'm looking for a skilled vehicle builder for a new model to be released - WW2, wheeled truck with AA gun. Model can be built here as a build report, fairly quick turn around required but I don't want to sacrifice quality for speed. If you are interested, show some of your work and if picked I...
