    I was walking my dog along the CSX line that runs by my house and I stumbled across a siding where the tracks were removed from the mainline.. I followed the siding up to something that looks like a ash pit or a scale.. Does anyone know what it is exactly???

    Maximum radius

    That will put the edge of the track 1 inch from the edge of the table... If you delrail a train it may nose dive to the floor. You might want to go with 21 or 22 radius or buils a lip to keep them on the table
