    Opinions on Trix

I am looking for a diesel to go with my circa 50's 60's layout and I saw one that looks great and has a great price of $75.00 Canadian or $66.95 U.S :thumb: It is by a German-Austrian firm called TRIX that people here seem to respect for their HO models, but no one seems to know anything...

    Cleaning enamel paint from tracks

I thought it would be great to rust up my tracks with some German enamel paint, and sure enough it did a great job. Some areas got paint on the top part of the rail and needless to say it has to come off. Would a razor blade work scraping the paint of, or would that damage the track.

    Flex

I have never used flex track but now it could be useful but I have a question. If you curve the flex track, will not the outer rail protrude from the end of the ties, and if so, is this extra length of rail cut, and if so how is it cut. The above run on sentence would make my English teacher...

    Terminology of roundhouse alternative

Hi. I was at the Elgin museum today and I saw a device that the locomotive would ride onto, stop, and then this device would move sideways to the appointed rail where it would stop and the loco would ride into the longhouse. This alternative to a roundhouse has inspired me and I would like to...
