Last night I was running my Kato SD70MAC, and it was able to only run at about 40% throttle going forward. Reverse was working fine. My Athearn RTR GP40-2 was running fine too, both forward and reverse. Any ideas?

Saw an former Chicago Northwestern loco, patched for Union Pacific tonight. Tried to get a couple pics, but they didn't turn out to well.

Was looking at replacing the black couplers on some cars today with kaydee 5's. I have kaydee couplers 4-9, and one other coupler with a really high number on it. Would these all be compatible, or should I just get more 5s?
