Hello, I am trying to mount a can motor to a dicast Shay frame. I have seen photos of what appears to be a motor mounted in putty. Can anybody tell me a good putty to use? I would be interested if this is a good method or if ther are better ways of doing this. Thanks Steve

Well I took my Hiesler appart and the circuit board appears not to have any caps that I can see. It has some resisters and some surface mount items. I wonder if this is a newer version. The guild that came with the engine makes no mention of caps, only plugging the decoder in and going on from...

Good Evening, I'm a little confused on the subject of motor isolation for DCC applications. Does the actual motor frame need to be isolated from the frame,or is it just the motor leads, ie the ground connection, that needs to be isolated? Thanks Steve:confused:

:confused: Hello, I just installed a Digitrax DZ143PZ Decoder in my Rivorrossi Heisler and have found that it runs fine in reverse, but poorly in forward. I assume it to be the fault of the locomotive, but I am unsure as to the cause. Any Ideas? I am using a Digitrax Zepher system...
