How do I make these in N scale?

if you are not caring of scale size then I would use toothpics, cut the pointed ends off and paint. If you do care about scale size then go to the hobby store train or other and get some hollow steel tubing and paint. good luck Joe in Houston

    HO in cramped apartment

Say man I live in a very small apartment and I chose N scale over ho for this reason and you can cover more ground with N as opposed to Ho. I cut a 4x8 sheet in half and made a loop with a father loop. I now wish I would have made an L shaped layout but this works good. Choose wisly Joe in...

    Overview of my Nscale layout

CP, I would say that the first looks very planned, (a solo that was written out as we would say in music) the second looks like some low lifes were out drinking and painted the car. Joe in Houston

Peco, Code80 or code55 for yard

I am not trying to start an argument, just sharing my thoughts. I am a novice modeler and started with a ez track then made a transition to flex track. I ran into the same problem as C T. The bump looked bad and one car the 40 footer would come uncoupled. I fixed the problem by sanding it...

    Tis the season for "Do-Overs"

"that foam bedding i tried to use" I used the foam bed because it was easly bent into shape. That was my main reason over cork. I also had a transition from Bachman snaptrack to flex and the foam fit nice. I also did not glue it down just nailed the track and the bed right to the ply...

how to Grass on the side of Mountain? anyone

attathed is the side of my mountain, I was wondering if any modelers have devised a plan to get turf on the side of a mountain that is already attached to the plywood?
