Summertime in Santa Lucia CA. Some years ago Babe Ruth stepped off the train durring a water stop here and wandered over to the sand lot for a few minutes, and no, Stinky Peterson never found the ball, but the Babe tossed the guys a couple new ones from the rear platform as the train left town.
