Found a cheap paint it urself wooedn tray at Michaels about a month ago for $2.49 that I use. Has nice "rails" around it and also slots cut in the narrow end panels and use that for my things when I am working. Also found a small metal bucket about 3" high that is poerfect for paint brushes...

Just wondering if any one has tried using FoamPrep as a "sealing coat" on their layout. This is a glue-like product that is sold at all the shows in the mid-Atlantic region along with a hot wire form shaping tool. What do you use on foam surfaces as a finish coat? :confused:

Has anyone here used either the Model Power or Roco track cleaning cars? I'm sure the Atlas does a better job but on a small layout like mine I hate to spend the $50 or so for the Atlas which also looks a bit too "outer-spacey" for my taste. :thumb:

Has anyone used decals for windows, etc on n-scale structures? If so how were the results and where did you find them?

Just a short update: Did add some temporary terrain features (small hills, a backdrop and some low shrubbery) along with some of my wife's beloved cows and horses and some mockups of proposed structures I will scratch build. The Overlands run fine but still look disproportionate to what I have...

Ah well, woe is me! Finally got track relaid and in testing with my new Overland's found the '50 is a bit Too large in scale and run a bit ragged on my tiny layout. Guess I should have gone with '34 Overton's. :oops:
