Been a longtime since i last posted here, but have been very busy. But lately I have had a chance to get back to the timeless task of scenery. Does anyone have a standard for road widths for N scale modeling? More pictures will be posted here and on my webpage.

What does everyone use to spread their plaster mix on the foam/plaster cloth terrain features with? I am using a paint brush and the mix seams to harden on the bristlesof the brush long before the mix in set.Causing it to spread rather poorly. Any tips you vetrens can offer me would be great!!!

when mixing water and soap solution for wetting of ballast or ground foam,how much soap to water is added?Also after adding soap do you shake the solution to mix it all togeather or what. Im just startint to paint and ballast a test track before i do my layout. Any help would be great.

What is a good ratio for hydrocol/plaster to water? The directions on the Woodlans Seanics tends to thicken with in minutes making it near inpossable to spread with a brush.I usally have to apply it with my hands which is very messy.
