I agree with Livesteamer about the PRR electrics, but I also like all side rodded electrics and the Milwaukee's Bi-Polars. Remember when Bi-Polar didn't mean something else?

Like the real thing, when it helps, I use pushers. Just make sure they run the same as the lead units. Slower or faster will result in cussing.

I like the old Trains , RMC and MR mags. I know things were far from perfect back then,and there were no neat things like train websites. But the magazines of that time contained a lot more actual train related stuff instead of ads. ( I know, ads are good, informs the reader,pays the bill...

Here is another, this one is 49 years old and is a Western Maryland 19 order from Glen Morris, MD, about 15 miles north of Baltimore.

I used a string of white Christmas lights to light the underside of my benchwork. It works great and I would have got away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids!
