    DCC and switch machines

All my rolling stock conforms to NMRA standards for wheel gauge and weight, and the only time they derail is thru the switch backwards without the points aligned correctly. If it was a rolling stock issue I would expect it to fail intermittantly in either direction, not only when the points are...

    DCC and switch machines

Hmmm Maybe its me or my rolling stock. But when I run a train thru a switch backwards, almost always one of the rolling stock will derail. Whether it be pressure or the switch machine, I have some machines that are not connected and the rolling stock sometimes will derail. If I lower the...

Any Broadway Limited Gurus out there?

Not sure if your BLI has a shutdown feature like my T1 from BLI. There are key sequences, (F6 I beleive) that when pressed twice place the loco in a idle mode pressing it again, makes it go to shutdown. Press it again and it comes out of shutdown and into startup, then the engine will run...

    My test piece of foam

I notice a bit of ballast still hanging around on the inside rails, You should try to get rid of all ballast above the ties, on tiny peice of ballast can throw a train right off the track. Other than that, everything looks good, keep it up.

    Tortoise and Atlas Customline

I remounted it using a small piece of 1/4" plywood in order to center the hole. The docs they sent me really didn't provide instructions on how to bend the spring when using the other two holes. It said something about fabricating a throwbar for the tortiose. Well the easier options was to...

    Tortoise and Atlas Customline

Hey all, Im trying to connect a Tortoise switch machine to my atlas customline 3 turnout. My questions are. Do I just slide the spring up thru the tiny hole in the middle of the throwbar on the turnout? I have the entire spring in that hole now. When I flip the switch I can see the...
