    This is my first attempt at detailing a TOFC as seen in the Sep/Oct N-Scale Railroading article. Any comments or suggestins before I start in on the rest of the intermodal fleet ?

    DCC for older Kato Dash-9

    I have a couple N scale Kato C44-9w locos from the first production run and would like to know if they are "DCC Ready" the same way the newer third run Dash-9's are. They are both split frame, same lightboard. Before i buy the drop in decoders, anybody know if they will work?

    First layout
