I scratchbuilt the MU stands. and these spark arresters. This is an N scale MoPac 531 GP18 project that I am working on.

Slide the screw driver in under the black horizontal bar just above the bronze spring strip. You will not need the spring for the MTs.

All you have to do on the Life-Likes is take a small screw driver and pop out the black clip that is holding the coupler in. Slide the 1015 through the pilot and pop the clip back in with the long post through the hole in the center of the coupler box. Then you need to check the height...

I do not know how large the original plan is, but if it will fit in your available space, you could build it the same size just using N scale track.

If you did yellow on clear, yes, it would. If you printed the yellow on white decal paper it wouldn't.

That sounds like that way would work, too. The nose would be the hardest part. Once you had them done, no one else would have any though. :cool:

I think the only thing that would be hard would be the nose stripes. I made the stripes for my AD&N units. I think the L&NW stripes could be made fairly easily as a custom decal.

I know Lavon. This was taken looking north in Fountain Hill on old Hwy 81, now 425. The tracks were just north of the Methodist church, which would be just to the left out of this picture.

I lived in Fountain Hill when I was young and I graduated high school in Hamburg. That's why I model the AD&N and its connecting roads. :cool:
