    Zebra Stripes

I've already seen quite a few of the ex-CN widenoses on the KCS- they're used quite a bit on the line from Meridian to Alliance.

where is he, he was here

He was a member of Trainboard for a while, and as I understand it, he couldn't keep his language clean there either. He later moved over here- where he is now, I haven't a clue. I want to think his handle here was casey12345678, but I could be wrong

There is more to a railroad than trains.

Exactly why I've shot photos of stations, interlocking towers, carshops, roundhouses, etc. that are now gone. If I had a camera back in 1973, I coulda shot the cement coaling tower on the Frisco mainline in Afton, OK before Frisco had it taken down (annulled all schedules and blew it over with...

    "Trains Unlimited" History Channel

That's where a VCR set to tape the program comes in handy. The downside to that is you also wind up taping all the commercials. The upside is you have it to watch later ( you can always fast-forward thru the crap to get to the good stuff).

The way I operate my Oklahoma & North Eastern is either as the O&NE (a freelanced railroad based on the former Northeastern Oklahoma) or as the Miami Branch of the Frisco's Afton Subdivision (which is what the real line was from 1964 to the BN merger in 1980). This way, I can...

HO Slot Cars with your HO Trains?

George, Slot cars I like, and trains I like. But I prefer them mutually exclusive. And yes, I've had slot cars since the 1960s. I just think a combination railroad/slotcar set is too much Tyco-like. However, to each his own........ ------------------ Railroadin' on the Western Slope!
