And for my money, Speedball Super Black is a great ink for dip pens.
Dip pens are the original tools with which comic book art was drawn (and of course, a Winsor-Newton no.3 sable round brush) but they take some getting used to. In the end, though, those tools will produce the liveliest lines and the broadest range of effects.
