Nice design and Build. I agree, this is so much better than alot of the free models out there, i think he could have made some money with this - the generosity of some members in our hobby forums is heart warming. :thumb:

Nando has released an incredibly detailed and excellent model of the Sopwith Swallow. It is at:

http://jleslie48.com/gallery_models_other.html#m36

and it"s FREE! It is hard to believe that models of this quality can be had for free. It is as good or better than what you can buy.:thumb:

There is a build thread that is more than a build thread, it is a tutorial, well worth the reading! Link below:

Thank You Zathros for your kind presentation.
For the design process You can refer at the thread that Zathros linked above, for the building, below You can see some pictures i took through the process.

This model brings daydreams of flying in different eras. I really like when that happens, a gift of a moment of peace.:thumb:

So if I read that right most of the model was fro 160gsm paper (I've got 200 so it should be fine) and the parts in the pdf that state card stock was for 0.5mm card.

Correct ? Or near enough ?

As You can see at this post on my thread at Papermodelers forum, I designed the model considering the tickness of the 160 gsm paper and 0,45 mm cardboard.

200 gsm could be fine also. May be, You have to remove a bit from bulkheads with sandpaper, to fit over the skin.
Let me know if You like my model and if you have any problem, don't esitate to ask me. Any criticism is welcome to enhance my designs.

Best, Nando :thumb:
