the brakes...............

Dear friends,

after three weeks in the south of France, I start again with my model.
Sadly the conditions for modeling were not good (40°C), so I spent my time at the beach :thumb::rolleyes:.
Anyway..............here is the progress from todays afternoon.

the driving rods..............

Hi folks,

after finishing the steam cylinders, notice they are different in size, because of the function as a compound engine (woohw, do you understand what I mean??), I started with the driving linkage.
First I made the main driving rods.

Sand dome and steam dome......

Hi folks,

because of the nice weather it was only a bit time for modeling.

So I only made the steam- und sand dome. Just have a look

@ Tjblundell: thanks for the kind comment. No, the driving linkage is not movable. In my experience the cardboard is to narrow abd the model becomes to fragile. In former locos I tried that but the success was only a small one

This istruly a beautiful model. I love the colors as model itself. I would build it myself but I think you have set the bar too high.
