Dear Gandolf50,
THANK YOU SO MUCH for flipping the part and for giving it to me. Now everything works!
I had the idea to flip it, but I did not know how. So, your help saved my day.
Thank you once again.

Youre right - strange that no one before mentioned this fact, and also the person who created the instruction should have noticed.
However - happy now :)

Enclosed the final pics of the last steps and the final model (regarding to the delivered parts).

Next steps will be:
a.) thinking how the bottom side can be pepped up and afterwards
b.) weathering of the model

You are MOST WELCOME!
BTW I had to go and GRAB another copy of the model, and the one I got has been updated as to some textures and the like...Thought I had the wrong one but removed one of the layers and there it was..and STILL WRONG! Guess Non-mentioned it!

Hi again,
regarding the greebeling of the backside I decided to keep it simple. First reason was, that my skills are not very high for such a project, and the second reason was that
I did not want to have too much difference between the top and the bottom side of the speeder.
So I decided just to mark the panels and to mark some of the panels as replaced but not with original parts - as usual for the rebel fleet.
Next step will be a smooth weathering, which should make the borders of the panels more realistic.
---------------------
Great feature created by accident.
As the back gun was pulled off by accident several times during the building phase I used a different glue (5 second fix which uses UV-light) to put the cannon in place.
As it pulled off again I found out, that the new glue formed a holder where the cannon can be horizontally moved.

I made a video but could not upload it as it has the wrong extention. Hope you can imagine what I mean by checking the second picture.

Took a while to finalize, but now the last pics.
Made the weathering in two steps:
First with a carcoal stick the rouph structure smoothed with a cotton stick, and second with water colors.

Next project will be the Imcold X-Wing. I will not post a building thread, as I think, that this thread:
http://www.zealot.com/threads/my-imcolds-x-wing-build.179015/page-6#post-1012524
shows everything and even more than I could ever post.
Thx for this thread - it will be my reference.

Great. One thing I underestimate on my build - You should have a plan for a stand and reinforce model accordingly. I also reinforced some parts of hull so I can hold the model in hands while building without fear of damaging the model.

If you start your thread I can elaborate on this more there.

Thanks for your tip. I will follow your tip and do reinforcements where useful.
Which paper did you use for your build? I use 180 gsm paper as basis paper.

As mentioned I will not post a thread, because of:
- your thread is perfect and shows more than I will ever be able to show and
- it will be a long lasting build ( I learned in the past, it is better to be accurate than to be fast;-))

My thread is not as detailed and informative as it could be. I focussed mainly to my addons, but building of the fuselage is described briefly. And was also everlasting :).

Therefor (If you want) I propose to start "discuss" thread of your build, where we can discuss build process and our experiences with this model build. Or we can use PM, but then nobody else could draw from our "knowledge":).
