Bugatti P100: In Memorium Scotty Wilson

My site and Resources page has been silent for some time, but the tragic death a few days ago of Scotty Wilson on the third test flight in Oklahoma got me moving. I live about 40km from Bugatti's head office in Molsheim, France. What a pity he didn't live to fly the this amazing plane to the HQ of Bugatti.
Coming soon in my Resources section, the Bugatti P100 which Scotty painstakingly designed and built from old plans. A marvellous aviator and builder.
If anyone can help with specific info/specs etc, I will be very grateful

Not sure what you might need but here you go ,,, first is the original plan for the 100P by Louis de Monge in 1937

Second and 3rd are Illustration and a cut-away

Last is a spec sheet...

A quick search found some original shots of the plane before the war still in building phase in the garage, that are available from DailyMail, UK.

I also have the US Patent app as a PDF that shows the detail how the propeller shafts pass each side of the pilot and the description of how one turns inside the other hollow one. Let me know if this is what you had in mind!

That is heartbreaking that he died. I wonder what happened? Having done a couple of test flights, it will be interesting to see what caused this remarkable aircraft and pilot fly on to eternity.......

A sad event indeed.

I only had the Louis de Monge plans, but not the others, so many thanks.
I think I have all I need now, and (being a paper model) I can adapt the prop shafts - which are hidden anyway - to work in a counter-rotating mode.

Bob, Thank You so much for posting this. We should do a new Memorial Thread when you finish the plane. ;)
