I have built many many Tamiya models. I wish at the time I knew how expensive they would become. I built the Honda 750, and even built every link for the chain. I actually gave that away as I did most. They do make fantastic models, but the prices for the ones I want are beyond my means these days. Nice build.

You could reveres engineer this into paper quite easily, and knowing your skill, I believe it would look even better!! :)

Sie könnten Ingenieur diese in das Papier umgekehrt ganz einfach, und Ihre Fähigkeit, zu wissen, ich glaube, es wäre noch besser aussehen !!

Looking great Oliver! Funny, I always found that the Tamiya models were not as good a quality (of plastic & moulding, lots of excess plastic on the pieces) as Airfix, Heller & Revell.

Depends on the Tamiya kits. It seems that some didn't get the attention they deserved. Some of the military ones were unsurpassed. I found that the Heller, Airfix, and Revell, often had molds that were old, hence a lot of flashing to remove, but once that was done, they are superb models. I am a great Airfix fan. I used to have a lot of Jo-Han models, and like an idiot did not know their worth. Yes, that hand tons of flashing, but the cars they modeled will never be modeled again. :)

p.s. Olli, I can see you making a paper version of this quite easily!! ;)

Nice looking build. I'll be following this. I've been away for a while due to some problems, but hopefully I'm back. I've missed watching some of these inspirational builds. The Tamiya kits that I've had experience with all have built into some really nice models. I have the 1:10 Ferrari Enzo kit that was sent to me by a friend from Japan that I hope to be able to make some time to build soon. Keep up the good work Oliver, this is Looking great!!!
