over the holidays i stumbled on a new book from Japan on amazon and i thought i would take a chance and pick it up. boy i was not disappointed. not only did the book have great reference shots of the Macross in all her glory it also included a 1/2400 scale paper model kit. (yaaa hoo my first purchased kit

) the kit it self is 20 pages in A4 format and very well detailed. although the instructions are in Japanese there are enough pictures and diagrams to help sort the assembly order correctly. so far i have completed the bridge section and part of the main hull. there have been a few stumbling block along the way there are a few pieces i would have designed/unfolded very differently to make the build easier. So far i am having alot of fun with it and hope i do a decent job.

This is not my "cup of Tea', but it is a great find, Thanks for posting it. I wish Amazon would sell more Paper models.

Got my copy today. Very cool book, but surprisingly thick cardboard used for the model parts. Wulf111, did you build the bridge section from the original parts? How good does they fold, and how do they react to glue?

no, i didn't use the original sheets, i scanned them and printed them off so encase i made a mistake i could just print off a new sheet.
