there is nothing more useless then atlas turnouts. replace them with pico and all will be fixed.

DONT USE ATLAS TURNOUTS. they are weak. spend the extra money and get peco turnouts and save your self trouble down the road. i stoped useing atlas turnouts about 4 years ago. have built 4 layouts for people sence then and have had 0 problems.

well i was fliping through the decals at one of the "other" LHS and i came across the decals for the CP over UP paint. so i though it would be fun. Went back to my LHS to find locos. found 2 Kato Loco that would work great. taped off the locos leaving the UP to be painted over. i used EL Yellow...

kato all the way u cant pull 80 cars up a 2% grade with 2 atlas engens but u can with kato. when i but a loco it is all about pulling power. i can always paint the hand rails like atlas but u can add more pulling power
