THX to all for the nice words......and many thanks to all designers who provide their models.
Oh I would be glad to do so. Hoping to build your Tie Phantom some time. Looking really good.
So next wings outside:
Used 2,5 mm cardstock for wingparts and 1mm for details. Edges will have to be painted.
Frames:
Cut out inner parts. Glue to the black sheet. Cut out.
I know what you mean. Should be mounted a little bit lower. As everything is glued I will not change this time. But will consider next time. Thx for the hint.
Thx for the info.
Thx.
Now cockpit window 2nd try.
I have not separated the transparent parts but cut them out as one part. Then I have connected the parts from the inside with scotch tape. Then attached the frames, removed the tapes and mounted on the cockpit.
Now only the wings are left.
Thx. The Sphere is not perfect but ok.
The cockpit window I will have to redo. Not good at all. Rest so far ok for me.
Top of cockpit built with additional part.
@ sphere. I think Zathros mentioned the trick of waterforming. I tried once but I failed. This is for sure a way to get spheres...
Sidewalls and cockpit front …..not sure if it is correct to split all the clear parts….I will see whether it works.
Oh 60% is not very much. I am glad that you have learned to deal with it. Your builds are perfect, despite your handicap.
