It's not dead, but it will take it's time. After a not so successful test build (the Internals wasn't sturdy enough, so the hull warped), i've got frustrated and decided to go on with another model. But actually I do rework the entire hull structure. So stay tuned. I will not give up on this...

There we have the dilemma... Today I finaly got the Blu-Ray from the live action movie "Space Battleship Yamato" and the bonus material revealed the measurements they actually used for the Yamato, what makes the length 534 meters (about 1752 feet). The Bandai kit of the Yamato (movie version)...

I've reworked most of the internal structure last week and started to arrange the parts with Pepakura. Next week I plan to start a test build to see, how the hull-parts will fit. And if this comes out the right way, I will release the blank hull for public testing. So stay tuned.
