    thank you so much for the reply..it turns out that we had not connected two wires....we only had tried one....now it makes a big sound and we are sooo happy!!! thanks again :)

    I just purchased an LGB Southern Pacific A/B Unit F7 and I can't get it to make a sound. Does anyone have any clue as to how this can be accomplished? Thanks!
