My son is a big fan of Mass Effect and especially of the Normandy!! Thanks for making this available! He'll love it!

    My 3foot Galactica attempt

Stephen: since the scale of the 3-foot Galactica model is close to 1/1400 (AMT did the Star Trek: Next Generation ships (Enterprise-D, Vor'cha)) in that scale, I think that Vipers scaled to your ship will be exceptionally tiny; so small that it will be hard to discern specific details. Wouldn't...

    My 3foot Galactica attempt

Thanks for info, Stephen! It occurred to me that such a large model must require some sort of internal support, not only for the major hull segments (head, main body, engines) themselves, but to each other! I look forward to seeing what the parts layout will be like.

    My 3foot Galactica attempt

I just re-reviewed the build up pics. The model looks pretty sturdy. Not being able to download the file yet, does the model need to have any sort of "core" (such as a length of doweling or a plastic or metal tube) to support the structure along it's length? At the scale of the model, Vipers...

    Battlestar models?

Heh! Well, most of my insanities ARE governed by $$ availability... so an uber-sized Galactica won't be in my short to mid-range plans. ;) I believe the thread you mentioned recently returned to the forefront more or less.. I've been perusing parts of it (had a buuuusy day today....) and I...

    Battlestar models?

Thanks for the info! I couldn't remember what was available for these ships, hence my initial question... I recently grabbed - more correctly, "re-grabbed" - the Gearz Galactica owing to a recent failure of my archive drive and I hadn't saved many of my files to disc. Also tracked down the...

Spanish battleship Pelayo 1:200, beta test

Even in development, your work is GOOD. I'm very impressed with the way you got the lower hull (the underwater part ) so nicely curved - and the rest of the hull just fits right into it! Amazing!! Good luck with your work!

3-foot long Pillar of Autumn?! (Now with Pictures!!!)

The Pillar of Autumn NEEDS to be big model; anything smaller really won't do the ship justice! sign1 It's an awesome ship. Great work on that model! :thumb:

    Battlestar models?

Hi, everyone, it's been a long time since I was last here.. I tend to be more of a lurker. I have a couple of questions as I'm looking for some BSG models. What models are available for the Galactica?. Both for the TOS and New series. Is there a large-scale TOS Galactica that is the same size...
