    Airborn - Airship Aurora

I definitely wish rigid airships were still a thing...they truly were flying ships in every sense of the word. Replete with deck and engine departments, marine officers, etc. Hell, we even still study the Hindenburg disaster as a maritime fire catastrophe!

    Airborn - Airship Aurora

Well, been a while since I last posted a model! Things have been pretty busy with me so far... Anyways, I decided to do a paper model of a subject very close to my heart. Kenneth Oppel's book Airborn is a young-adult work that I read during elementary school days...it was probably the first...

M40 Stahlhelm; how much is it worth?

Oh, forgot to post a picture of the chinstrap markings:

M40 Stahlhelm; how much is it worth?

Hi guys! So while we were docked in Trieste, I purchased an M40 Stahlhelm with what appears to be in its original condition (original paints/decal, liner, etc.). I trust the man who sold it to me; his shop contained all manner of relics ranging from WWII items (like, y'know, the helm) to objets...

IVolga, Wings in Ground effect "WIGS"

Whoa there! I was just trying to make light conversation bud! 'sides, all I was saying was that it is kinda difficult to navigate a ship around WIGs, not to mention the additional navigational rules you have to study as a result. Which is not to say that I'm railing on WIGs, either. They're...

Fallschirmjäger Drop Pod - Das Personenabwurfgerät

So, this probably has to be one of the most interesting (if not downright absurd) gadgets produced by the Heer during the Second World War... So while you would have thought that drop-pods were solely in the realm of science fiction (a la Starship Troopers, WH40k, or Halo), apparently they...

IVolga, Wings in Ground effect "WIGS"

As awesome as those things are, you have NO IDEA how annoying they are for marine navigation, haha! So long as they stay close to the water, they're considered to be vessels (albeit a special kind with a whole set of rules regarding them)...very fast and dangerous vessels... WRONG WRONG WONG...

Firefly - Alliance AFV (Stalwart FV 622)

Firefly - Alliance AFV (Stalwart FV 622)

and done! Kinda rough testbuild...I'm just gonna blame it on heavy physical work on the ship... ;)

Firefly - Alliance AFV (Stalwart FV 622)

So, I just got back from being overseas, and I figured it's time for a new model! This time around it's a modified Stalwart FV 622 seen in the Firefly pilot for a whopping five seconds! While the model is that of the vehicle seen in the pilot, I've made a few modifications. An unmarked AFV is...

    "Linse" Explosive Boat

and testbuild is done...if not quite sloppily...

    "Linse" Explosive Boat

Hi all, just finished designing yet another model! This time around it's a curious little vessel used almost exclusively by Germany's little-known special-operations units. The Linse is an explosive boat, not unlike the Shinyo used by the Japanese. Unlike the Shinyo, however, the Linse boats...
