It was Dec 19th on the Settle and Carlisle when 8F 2-8-0 48151 hauled empty ballast hoppers from Hellifield to a temporary quarry at Ribblehead. After loading the 8F hauled the loaded train to Carlisle Kingmoor. The train was loaded to 650 tons and crewed by EWS men. Railtrack NW Zone arranged...
