    The Whiskey River Railway

Just found this thread, this is going to be very interesting to watch. I look forward to seeing progress on your railroad, but more importantly I look forward to your safe return. I would be very interested in seeing more about those lokies in your first posts. What is that Malley, a 4-4-4-0...

    AHM Casey Jones issues

Thanks Tyler, that's great news. I figured I would never find one of those cabs, I can only find complete locos, overpriced at that. Bill, let me know if you decide to sell, my PM is open as well. Tyler, take care over there, and thanks for your service. Dave

    AHM Casey Jones issues

What will happen with the 4-6-0s? I am shopping for a clerestory cab and tender from the AHM Casey Jones loco for a kitbash project. Interesting in selling any of the parts? Dave

    PRR Passenger Cars

That would be a correct guess. They are neat little cars though, the baggage and combine could even work in a consist with more accurate PRR equipment. The coach and tail car not so much though. Dave

    Weekly Photo Fun 12-5/12-12

I don't think you went overboard, I've seen occupied buildings in D.C. that look similar to that! Dave

Wow, an SDP40F on Blomberg trucks! I like the building with ivy growing all over it. Dave

    Is it possible...

The flatcar is nicely done and pretty heavy. The 40 ft boxcar is reallllllly heavy, but I thought the details were too thick and heavy.

History Channel - another Train Series!!!

We're lucky that anything related to trains is even being aired on TV. I think you guys are being too critical. I used to be a railroader, a Trainman and Engineer, and yet I find the show entertaining. The average person has no idea what they are looking at, and if their interest isn't being...

    So what has happened here?

I think the thing on the rail is a chocking device. Looks like the loco was possibly derailed by said device. In a slow speed single wheel derail there may be no gouges or damage. It used to happen to me all the time while setting out cars on this crappy CSX trackage, we'd throw some blocks...

    Am I Crazy?

I hope you get a good workable plan going and hope to see plenty of photos! I'm not really sure, I am going to research the different computer programs and layout interfaces on the market. My thought is the dogbone would have 8 staging tracks on each loop for 16 total. So really it would...

    Am I Crazy?

Just a thought... My Baltimore and Potomac RR is going to represent a scaled down version of the original PRR line from Baltimore, Md to Alexandria, Va (Potomac Yard). It will likely consist of PY of the RF&P being represented by staging, Benning, D.C. being a modeled 6 track yard, and some...
