Star Wars First Order Atmospheric Assault Lander

The idea is to have interior textures for the side and upper wall. Then insert a floor and a back wall. According to references there is a wall and behind is the navigator and gunner position. That would all go into the existing geometry (including the ribs). The only "new" part would be some...

Star Wars First Order Atmospheric Assault Lander

Hi guys, thanks and you are all welcome :) Sorry for the delay. I was away for a couple of days with the folks and am now recovering of "way-too-much-eating" sickness:jawdrop: Yes, it is my design (the paper model part ... of course the rest is Lucasarts and Disney ;)) The landing ramp does...

Star Wars First Order Atmospheric Assault Lander

Hi guys, just in time for the festive season I was able to complete my latest Star Wars paper model. The AAL from episode VII! Esp. the rear engine section was a challenge but even with simplifications I think it looks very interesting. So if you are interested to build it yourself, you...

    TOS Enterprise

Oh! When I created this thread it seemed like it did not work ... but obviously it did :-) Zombie post! I have made some photos. I started with the primary hull rib structure and liked the way this was designed. As I did not have any 2mm cardboard around I glued it together with 300gsm (apx...

    TOS Enterprise

For a while now I wanted to build a TOS Enterprise and found a file in my todo-papermodels-folder (it is huge! :) ) with a 1:720 model (original by Ron Claudillo and redo by Legal01) I don't have instructions but so far I seem to know what to do. I started with the inner structure of the disc...

    Orc village

Just in time before weekend starts I have managed to finish the adaptation of the leather texture for the larger hut roof! It took me all week, to work on all the variations of color and shades but I am very happy with the results. So now I can start working on the walls and base...

    Orc village

Good to be back again :-) I have released the first set in the meantime. You can read all about it here: http://www.papierschnitzel.com/savages-settlements-small-huts-released/ A couple of pics there of the finished set, but here is a new small extension I am working (it will be added shortly...

    Orc village

I think I have settled on the final camp fire textures. Have a look at the evolution :-) The bottom row is the final one. Left is the cold fire and on the right the glowing version. I had a short look into making fire but it never looks that good so I think the glowing coals version sells...

Thought I show my progress on the camp fire before I leave to meet the folks for the easter weekend. I seem to have a problem with uploading a pic today, so here is the link to my site:

    AT-ST Walker

Yes, it's on the way back burner. Not dead though. I have the prototype sitting on the shelf above my work place and think about it every now an then but I have so much going on now, new products, website redesign ... that I need to focus on the important stuff now. Too many ideas in my head...

    Orc village

Working on the ground base for the small hut. Had to rearrange the rock distribution layers and made some "interior". I want to add some sleeping rugs and a little fireplace in the next days. This is the ground tile with the hut on it ... ... and if you need to game inside, just the take hut off!
