I have found an old (1944) picture of the USS Missouri and the USS Alaska docked together. I have tried to replace the old ships with the models that I have built.
Finally get to post the end of build. Now working on USS Alaska, GPM. Not as detailed as the Missouri and not the quality but a nice build. Also the USS Missouri and the HMS Repulse at same scale.
All 40mm mounts are done! Now the 20mm, a lot of them, and other small detail to finish, then the railings. I thought a big model = big parts but I was wrong.....a lot of small parts.
It was suggested by another reader to place the plaques on the stand and as it is a good idea I think I will do that. I have already made the stand so I can try it out and see what it looks like. Thanks.
