The 3 feet railcar is from Ireland and was in use until 1959 when the County Donegal Railway went...
Hi
I did. I have several models - some of them are over decades old. They are very well detailed. I have some new models (purchased 1-2 years ago) and are waiting for assembly.
(Steam showel, crane and some other trucks...)
Hi, the 131 was in the steel factory. That time we could not get in, however promised, so we had to wait outside on the station for this locomotive and also for the normal gauge engine. (see the picture).
It was in heavy rain - unfortunately.
I made also a video, a summary I will place...
I am glad to see that something happened in Vietnam on field of steam locomotives.
I was there in 2002 for almost 3 weeks and travelled around in northern part of the country. We could have 2 of 141 locos. It was an excellent event, just the weather was very bad.
Keep them running...
Japanese companies exported many 2-6-0 and 2-6-2 switchers to the countries in Asia. Some other smaller engines came there from Europe (France, Germany and UK).
Most of the switchers were tender engines.
In Africa depends on the region.
In East Africa the motive power came from Italy...
Here is a short trailer from my film made in March 2009 in Eritrea.
The film is available on DVD also in English.
