I'm planning a scratchbuild of an obscure Star Wars ship in 1/35 from sheet styrene. To go along with that ship I'll need a series of characters.

Exactly! The idea of a boat which floats across the sky established a whole series of artists, not just Ian Mcque. There's been some really beautiful illustrations along that line, but not much in models, unfortunately.

I'm sure many here will be familiar with the artwork of Ian McQue. His hovering boats have been part of the Sci-Fi modelling world for a couple of years now.

I primarily build dioramas and began solely with WWII topics. But in the last year I've discovered the joy in scratchbuilt Sci-Fi. But it's been difficult to find a large enough forum dedicated to just that genre.
