    HO Turnout specifications

Hello, I belong to a new RR club and we are preparing a trackplan for submission to the members for approval. I need to know the specifications that determine what number a turnout is. No. 4 vs No. 8 etc.. I have visited web pages over the years where this is explained with detail drawings but...

    Mikado problem

Folks, Found the problem. It had to do with the 2 thin wires coming from the engine via the drawbar to the tender. They are curved and need to be INSIDE and contacting the 2 tabs on the tender front truck that go up into the tender body and make contact there. I hope this is clear...

    Lashups

absnut I used the suggested MT 2002 coupler for the Mikado. The packaging it comes in says for pilot conversion and tender but the MT web site says no pilot conversion available. Confusing. Thanks. Looks and works fine. Terry (K.V.Div) Thanks for the photos. I am convinced. Tried 3...

To all, Thanks for the many suggestions. I won't be able to check them out this weekend with family gatherings for Easter but will get back and let you know what I find as soon as possible. They are beuatiful looking engines and I want to see them running a schedule on the B&SPRY.

Rory, They are Kato's. Now that you mention it, I had the feeling in the back of my mind, that the bottom of the pilot might be touching the rails? I will have to check that out. Thanx
