    Pepakura won't print my textures

Thank you Nero I think you're right there. It looks like it's something to do with the Canon software. It printed without the textures from Pepakura but exporting it to pdf worked fine. It's added an extra step to the process but at least I can print some models now. I might try uninstalling the...

    Pepakura won't print my textures

Hey guys I've been feeling in the mood to do a bit of paper crafting recently and thought I'd make some game pieces for a small skirmish game involving robots. I haven't done anything like this for ages so I had to buy another key for the new version of Pepakura designer ( I think I was last...

    Pop up cottage card/lantern (warning:sentimental!)

Heya guys I've been having a look at kirigami or origami architecture recently and it really caught my imagination as a different twist on the type of paper crafting I've done in the past. Some of the back-lit models gave me the idea to make a pop-up card/lantern for my grandmothers birthday...

    Orks Forge (Plastic card stuff)

Very nicely done! At least as good as the official model. You are very talented.

    $50.00 tool kit

You'll have a lot of change left out of $50! The expensive kit in this hobby is really your printer and the ink, after that you don't have to spend much at all. I went into my local department store and just bought the cheapest stuff and it's served me well. My crafting knife is just a Blue...

Back with a brand new Jack

Heya guys I've not been around this neck of the internet for a while but I've been bitten again by the papercrafting bug and so like a moth to the candle I return. I needed a model that didn't use coloured ink as I'm all out and I found this Jack Skellington model from The Nightmare Before...

Drop your weapon, you have 20 seconds to comply.

Drop your weapon, you have 20 seconds to comply.

Amazing! I like the way all those little parts come together to make it look really substantial, it looks very solid. Do you think you'll need to weight the feet for it to stand or will it balance ok with the body attached?

    Mechwarrior Style Mech (WIP)

Haha point taken I will leave those little bits in for you Millenium! You are either very skilled at making small models or you have massive hands! I'm ready to upload this for you guys to try out if you like. Should I just put it in the downloads section and label it as untested?

    Mechwarrior Style Mech (WIP)

Thanks for the kind offer Milleniumfalsehood! I've been having a go at the paper version and I've declared it not fit for human consumption just yet. This is my first model and I think it shows, some of the parts are just too small to be built (in the previous image you can see a part...

    New to paper folding

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! There sure is a lot of inspiration and tips to pick up from the members of this forum and I hope to enjoy submitting my work as much as building the work of others too.

    Mechwarrior Style Mech (WIP)

OK got it all textured in the GIMP and unwrapped on Pepakura (managed to get all 70 parts onto 3 pages when 150mm tall). My texturing skills are not all that great at the moment but I can only improve with further projects surely. This time I learned the basics of bump mapping to add a bit of...
