    'O' gauge track plan-critique requested

One thing I noticed is that if the turnout in the upper right was moved to the left of the turnout in the upper middle you could continuously run the whole track without have to throw any turnouts. Hope this makes sense. LOL Cheers, Jim

    Were you from...?

I got started in model railroading a little over a year ago. I can't remember how I found The Gauge but I did shortly after I got started. Great group of friendly and knowledgeable folks here. I look at several other groups each day. The other two I like are RR-line and On30 Conspiracy...

    Another Week another project

That looks great. I think there's some nasty weather creeping in on the right. I just received Darryl Huffman's Easy Backdrop Painting DVD in yesterday's mail so will have to try some of this myself pretty soon. Jim

    Finally - some progress!

Yes, that concrete looks great Val, as does the rest of the layout. It's an interesting process you went through to arrive at this design. More like real life where the tracks and buildings sort of grow together with the track work fullfilling the needs of the building owners. Cheers, Jim

    $50 HO Box Car?

That's beautiful work Rich and a nice website. Lot's of good inspiration there. I also say, if you can get those prices on e-bay, go for it. As far as value goes I say they're worth whatever anyone is willing to pay. I think we call that the free enterprise system. Cheers, Jim PS: By...
