That is a nice looking J2. As I'm sure you already know, the J2 is notoriously difficult to model accurately because the various sets and models never matched. Keep up the good work!

Wow trt, it is nice to see someone finally tackling this one. It is one of the coolest, yet most neglected sci-fi movie vehicles. I remember being shocked many years ago while passing the business that had it sitting out in their lot rusting away. I still looked just as cool though.

Thanks for that tip Zathos; I've avoided building models like these because of the hassle of warping issues. Making shaped formers to fit inside these models is a real hassle that your box idea totally avoids. Funny, we're always told to "think outside the box"; It seems that sometimes the box...

Loenf, I love your background choice for your diorama. That giant talking video billboard is one of the most memorable visuals I have from that movie. It added to the creepy dark quality the movie had.

Yeh, it was a real stinker. But hey, it was Disney's first attempt at a PG film. I remember when I saw it, I had to work really hard to keep my suspension of disbelief intact (a struggle that I lost badly by the way). Imagine what that movie could have been if done with a better, harder edged...

Has anyone else tried using Art Of Illusion? I've started using it to design card models. I used to use a program called MoRay, but when I was forced to switch to Vista, the software stopped working. I tried blender, but as others have said, it has a steep learning curve. Anyway, AoI can export...

Oh man, now that is a difficult task. I've looked for good reference images for them and failed. Maybe someone else will have better luck? By the way, If you do design these models, I'm sure they will be fantastic. Your models are amazing!
