3 hours? That's the fastest time I've ever heard someone sell a house. What realestate agency was this?
Good luck with the new house and layout. :thumb:
What does this exactly mean? I read on another forum that the Digitrax Empire Builder does not have readback configuration variables from the decoder but the Zephyr does. Is this an important feature of DCC?
Thanks.
Does anyone use sound in their locomotives? I was just at my local hobby shop and was shown a demonstration. I was amazed on how it sounded. Although the sounds were from an HO locomotive, it was mentioned that N scale is also possible. One name that came up was a company called ESU that makes...
Thanks 60103. Now it's making sense.
Now on a curve how far appart will multiple tracks in N scale have to be? I've read some posts on this but didn't find a definitive answer. I think someone said 1 1/4" or was it 1 1/2" from centre to centre of the track.
I'm planning out my layout and would like to know how to measure the track. For example on Atlas track packaging it says 12.5" Radius/Full Curve. What does this mean exactly? And on that note, if I use Atlas Flex Track should there be a minimum radius curve that has to be followed?
I little off track here (get it? :)), but where is a good place to position uncoupling magnets? What I mean is do you place it just before a turnoff into a main yard or something like that? Does anyone have a picture they can show?
I purchased two of these N 17,600 Gallon Tank Cars and as I picked one up the ladder popped off :curse: I noticed there are little pin holes for the ladder to attach too. The ladder does stay on it's own but I'm afraid that it will fall off and get lost. I assume these are glued at the factory...
I made this little drawing and was wondering where would a reversing module or modules go and where would the track have to be insulated? I'm guessing I would need 4 turnouts here. I'm still a little new to all this so please be gentle. :D
Thank you.
What are all manufacturers that make software for DCC? I heard some actually simulate the amount of fuel your loco has and will make it stop if not filled/reset. Very cool stuff.
