Thanks for the link. But they only seem to be older locomotive's there. I mean, he mentions them, but only talks about the steam and other locos :(

Hi, forgive my ignorance in the matter, i'm new to this awesome new hobby :rolleyes: I have a Dash-9 G scale loco. I'm a little confused as to what decoder i want/need and how the sound portion will be included. I suppose it boils down to what I want the locomotive to do. Eventually...

Well, that's my plan. I won't have any outdoor track layed this year. I would like to get just enought indoor rail to be able to install my decoders and customize my locomotives :)

I can't seem to find any threads or links to anyone who has customized an aristo 23000 series Dash-9 (230008 CN) whether it's adding a speaker or whatnot. Can anyone point me in the right direction? i'm a newbie also :cool:

Not yet, Still planning the layout really, beginner phase. And besides, i want to modify it first. I'd like to add sound (custom) and a few other things :)

DASH 9 finally! The pics are forthecoming, haven't had a chance yet. I'll pop it in the backyard and try and take some realistic pics. Only so much one can do with a 2.1 megapixel. =)

Just had to tell someone (who's interested) For those who want to know. I got it at a "christmas train store" in Kanata Ontario. Was the last one of course and i have just enough rail for her to sit on :thumb:
