While I have no personal experience in submitting anything for publication in these or any other magazines, I do know that most publications have certain guidelines which you should follow. Just out of curiosity, where did this take place and what was the occasion?

I like the transition era, especially the late 1950's, probably because that's the railroad era I grew up with and probably had the most exposure to. In second place, I guess I'd have to put the modern era. I kinda like those big diesels, too (although I can't tell one from another).

I'd kinda like to have them all; but they don't fit my railroad or my era, so I voted none.

Great. I wonder how long it will be before we see a real train operating in revenue service that way. It seems to me, there needs to be a good way to "refuel" the liquid nitrogen.

Yes, it is a great place. The Cornell Chapter NRHS had a trip down there just last weekend and we had a wonderful time. Stopped at Tyrone on the way and caught Amtrak boarding. Spent some time at the Museum and visited a number of places in the area where we could take pix. Of course, spent...
