    Upgrading Polar Express?

    The P Express does indeed have a flywheel. I saw it with my own two eyeballs when I pulled the loc apart to convert the lights over to LEDs.

    Bachmann Trolley Help

    Mine is pretty noisy too, "ghrrr...erreororeo...ghrrr...erreororeo..." But with the two O gauge and the On30 running you can't hear it anyway. I've taken it apart and lubed it, but it didn't help. It's just the nature of the beast I'm afraid.
