    Building Rawen and Legal01's 400-scale U.S.S. Reliant

Still plugging away. For a week, I was in Palm Springs, California - a nice change from wintry upstate New York - so I had a hiatus of sorts. But I have finished sticking all the stickers to my 1.5 mm card, and have begun cutting out the internal support pieces. Man, that yardstick wears down...

    Building Rawen and Legal01's 400-scale U.S.S. Reliant

Thanks, @vulcan8630 for the suggestion! My mom uses desk calendars a ton, and I've now asked her for the backs of all of her archived ones.

    Building Rawen and Legal01's 400-scale U.S.S. Reliant

Having finished my first paper model, Martin Saenger's Buck Rogers Thunderfighter, my all-time favorite small sci-fi ship, I have been itching to build a Star Trek vessel. Above all other fan-type-things, I am a Trekker. I love the Refit Enterprise with a holy love, but I don't feel that my...

    400 scale

Hello, all! I downloaded the 400-scale Reliant, and it does not seem to have any instructions in the file. I found bgt01's build thread, but it looks like he's using a smaller scale, and thus not all of the internal supports and stuff. Can anyone point me to instructions on how to build this...

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Well, she's finished - my first completed paper craft project! Here are my final pics... Not perfect, by any stretch: the forward cannons are askew, my sponsons aren't smooth down their length, the wings are a bit cockeyed, and so on. But I'm glad to have finished, and thoroughly enjoyed...

Having just finished mine, I now see that I should add the engines AFTER assembling the aft body completely.

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Wow, @mcusanelli - that's a CLEAN build. Holy smokes! That can't be a paper figure inside, though. Can it?

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Slowly but surely, or at least slowly, I am still building this model! :) My job got really hectic around the end of September, and so not a lot of work has been done. But here's where I am right now... the dorsal and ventral skin of the fighter have been completely attached, as well as the...

    my artwork

I agree that detailed backgrounds would be of great value to your work. You lavish time and attention on the creatures, and produce stunning renditions of them, floating in empty, white space.

I haven't been commenting much, but I am still watching your build(s)! Thanks for the inspiration.
