    History Channel Train Special

    There's also a weekly show on RFD Channel 379 (that's what it is on DirecTV) called Trains and Locomotives. It's on every Monday evening at 6 pm. It's basically the train videos that you can buy in the stores or online but it's still pretty neat.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news Matt but actually it's the Saginaw Subdivision which now terminates at McGrew. LSRC leases everything north of there. It would be real easy to model the traffic patterns today, you'd only have to run a train every couple days. The only steady traffic appears...

    What era draws your attention the most?

    I'm kinda stuck between the 70's -80's and the modern era. 70's - 80's because the railroads were a lot more accessible then as far as railfanning goes. Modern era because who can resist those big diesels barreling down a main line with a line of doublestacks behind them.

    Modelrailcast is done by someone else, I forget what his name is at the moment. His and Scotty Mason's are both good, a little long sometimes but they're good. So far I like Scotty's better only because of his interviews with the well know names like Tony Koester, Dave Frary, and George Sellios...

    FYI - For those of you that get the RFD channel on DirecTV or Dish Network. Trains and Locomotives is on at 6pm EST. It looks like it's about the Dennison Railroad Museum.
